Just wondering if anyone has used these and had any problems? The parcel I ordered to go to Op Herrick has not arrived and they are being completely unhelpful, saying that I must take the issue up with BFPO although I can't as I do not have a tracking number.

I used them and it was fine; I imagine though at this time of year, everything is held up due to loads of people sending more for xmas.

On their site they say:
"we hand deliver all items directly to RAF Northolt"

Therefore, it's being delivered to herrick on an RAF flight and has to go with all of the rest so could be late at this time of year.

Lots of post won't get there for xmas; it will be nice for whoever you are sending to though that they will have a later xmas pressie......assuming you are sending it for xmas and you didn't order it in July, for example Grin

I know - but it was sent 10 weeks ago whilst the 12 boxes sent over the last 3 weeks are already there.....including another one from BoxHappy to someone in the same office sent 10 days ago, hence why I am concerned! It was a birthday present. TBH more annoyed about their attitude and lack of interest in resolving the situation than the delay.

Ooh - that isn't very good.
You should write them a letter and complain and say you would like them to do something about it. How traumatic it is for the children with their daddy away(if it's for your dh). I think then, they would send you a free parcel. If it's in writing (not email), they should do something.
Hope you get it sorted Smile

That's a good idea, thank you! If he gets it in the next few weeks at least it might perk his Christmas up a bit....failing that Valentine's!

You could also say that they really don't want to be getting negative reviews from forces wives as they get so much business through the military (maybe though, that's a bit too bitchy).

Hi

Im a representative of Boxhappy and this thread has been brought to my attention.

'Penguin 73' please drop us an email if this has not been resolved. Ive looked through our customer correspondence from the entire month of November and can see nothing on the case you outline above. Nor do we suggest people take up their issue directly with BFPO. As you correctly point out this would be impossible anyway.

As I say, we have no correspondence that matches the issue you have posted here, but please do get in touch and Im sure we can bring the matter to a swift conclusion.

We do not leave Forces friends and family out of pocket; its not do we do.

Nor, do we ever like people to feel we have let them down; so please, as I say, drop us a line and (if your item was indeed ordered through us) we'll get it sorted.

Thanks

Matt
