Personally, I am a Salt and Vinegar girl myself. I'd get beaten up in my local if I had the word "capers" on packet of crisps that I was eating.

But then the people tha I drink with think that pizza is exotic

i knew a woman who's parents thought spag bol was exotic. in fact, any pasta of any type.

Anything not from a tin is posh. My dw thinks I was born in a cave!!

You can get posh food in a tin, like Ravioli and curried baked beans. How more gourmet can you get?

Oooh ravioli, that always makes me think of my old school dinners. Our dinner ladies used to count the number of ravioli pieces you had on your plate, they took one off mine and gave it to the bloke next to me once!

The cowbags! I bet you were traumatised!!!!!!!!!!! All I remember about our dinner ladies were that they were all big, red banshees with hacking smokers coughs.

Ours were similar, I reckon it's in the job description.

They used to dish up this strange green soupy stuff for pudding. It smelled like SOAP!

We used to get this non descript pink stuff (same consistency as Angel Delight, but smelt of rotten eggs, and tasted like rancid yoghurt) with 100s and 1000s sprinkled over the top for pudding.

The school dinners themselves were also interesting, and were always dominated by cabbage.

Why would anyone want to eat asparagus flavoured crisps? The flavour makers really are running out of ideas!
