I have just made muesli bars with dessicated coconut which is terribly, terribly old. Will we all die?

Made breakfast bars in oven

then realised dessicated coconut is best before end Dec 2009

it was a sealed pack

what's the worst that could happen? dd2 helped make them so cannot easily bin them without comment

would you eat them? I mean it's dessicated, right? Isn't that just another word for 'everlasting'?

Yes, you will all die.

Eventually.

But not from eating the muesli bars

StealthPolarBear · 07/07/2010 18:07

lol Poledra

StealthPolarBear · 07/07/2010 18:07

why has the OP not been back? Was it the coconut?

Poledra · 07/07/2010 18:31

No, if she's just eaten muesli bars with dessicated coconut, she's now looking for the little jar of cocktail sticks that she knows are here somewhere (though in fact they were last seen at Christmas 2009 when her DH tried to make cocktails with olives in 'em) in order that she can use one to pick all the flamin' dessicated coconut out of her teeth........
