Sticking one in the oven this afternoon but wanted to vary my usual boring recipe - any suggestions for jazzing it up?

Slather with mustard or
Crumble a chicken oxo over skin
Tarragon butter on/under skin

This is my fave at the moment - Roast Chicken with Butternut squash and Chorizo

another vote for the garlic butter

get some tarragon!!!!!

roast as normal, then drain off fat but keep juices/crusty bit, deglaze with white vermouth or white wine, boil and reduce, add a few tablespoons of double cream or creme fraiche and lots of chopped tarragon. To die for.

Or I also like thyme, garlic and salted butter mashed up and spread under skin.

Thanks - just made garlic butter and added sage and tarragon (dug out from back of draw)and onion. Really felt adventurous and mixed honey, vinegar, oil and mustard and coated the skin - really not sure about the combo of flavours but what the heck
