Please help! I have been asked to make a wedding cake for my friends brother, I would like to use the Delia recipe I have for a rich fruit cake does anyone know how to scale up? If not I need a 12 inch square recipe. Thanks

Thanks but it only goes to 10 inch square, have posted bit on there too so hopefully someone will be able to help (fingers crossed wee man)

If the 10 inch square cake is 3 in deep then it will be a total of 300sq in. You will need 432 sq in for a 12x12x3 in cake so I would increase the recipe by 50%. The cooking time won't be much more (I wouldn't think).
