Quick help needed! Recipe needs 3oz brown sugar and 3 oz white sugar. Can i use all brown?

About to make cookies for school event. Recipe needs 3oz brown sugar and 3oz normal sugar but i have run out of white sugar. Can i use all brown sugar? Will they turn out Ok?

yes you can but they will look slightly more golden and have a slightly richer flavour

They have come out fine and taste lovely. Sweeter than normal i think but otherwise fine.
