Carrot cake (Part 2) - Can I freeze it?

I made my carrot cake last night with vegetable oil instead of sunflower oil (see last night's thread) and it is lovely. It made a massive cake and whilst I can give lots of it away, I would really like to freeze some for a friend I won't see this week. It would be frozen iced. Has anyone successfully frozen carrot cake?

Thanks Tommy, I think you're right about the icing but I'll have a go anyway.

i used to work ina restaurant and we did freeze it but not iced.

if it has icing on the icing tends to go all yellowy and kind of cracks
