Some love it some hate it.
I love it which one is your favourite though? There are so many to choose from...
I'm currently eating sainsburys organic but normally have skippy.
What about you?

OP posts:
BoysAreLikeDogs · 25/06/2010 20:25

eaten with nutella

PandaG · 25/06/2010 20:26

crunchy not smooth. rarely buy it, and would go for organic if I could think, but can't abide the smooth stuff!

Ponders · 25/06/2010 20:28

the 99p huge jar from Lidl

snigger · 25/06/2010 20:30

Skippy, crunchy, with strawberry jam on squeaky white bread.

ShowOfHands · 25/06/2010 20:30

Never had it. Not entirely sure what it is. Mashed up peanuts?

thereistheball · 25/06/2010 20:32

Absolutely definitely the crunchy Whole Earth organic one. It doesn't have any sugar in it, because it is 95% peanuts, the rest being palm oil and sea salt. Everything else is a poor substitute.

I have people export it for me when they visit me in France.

garlicoliveoil · 25/06/2010 20:37

i agree with thereistheball, whole earth is the best, its yummy

MaineGirl · 25/06/2010 20:45

omg i feel i am probably the commoner of the peanut butter world! for me its sunpat smooth on white toast. (should this be kept a secret from mn like denying all knowledge of greggs and fruit shoots? )

DastardlyandSmugly · 25/06/2010 20:55

Skippy definitely. Crunchy not smooth.

Littlefish · 25/06/2010 20:57

Oh, I absolutely agree with thereistheball. The Whole Earth organic crunchy one is absolutely delicious.

Does anyone else eat peanut butter and marmite together on toast?

thereistheball · 25/06/2010 21:02

No. Marmite is for eating on toast in alternate mouthfuls with honey and mashed banana, obviously.

KnickKnack · 25/06/2010 21:03

Suma organic crunchy (no sugar, no palm oil and no salt...just nuts!) Bahhumbugs to whole earth

on white toast
or on white bread and banana sandwich
or on cream crackers

more · 25/06/2010 21:06

in Reece's Buttercups obviously

JulesJules · 25/06/2010 21:11

1st - In Reece's peanut butter cups
2nd - Crunchy, on white toast
3rd - Crunchy, on multi-grain bread + Nutella

Not that I've thought about this or anything.

I have tried it with Marmite, but prefer Marmite on its own I think.

cyb · 25/06/2010 21:13

SKIPPY

and I've just discovered the food hall of bentalls sells GIANt jars of it for £7.50

runnybottom · 25/06/2010 21:15

Tesco wholenut (green jar) or Aldi crunchy. New fave way is on a crumpet -or-- 7 with Green and blacks version of nutella. Tastes like a melted snickers!

MiniMarmite · 25/06/2010 21:19

Whole Earth Organic Cruncy

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 25/06/2010 21:24

I am with KnickKnack
Suma is the best.
prefer crunchy non salted

I love the list of ingredients, Peantuts

Isquirm when looking at some when I see what is in them

Littlefish · 25/06/2010 21:26

Greyskull - I would love to see a list of ingredients that said Peantuts.

thereistheball · 25/06/2010 21:31

Suma - where do you get that? Sounds great.

jooseyfruit · 25/06/2010 21:33

whole earth smooth, slathered on a slice of strong cheese.

WhatWouldMadonnaDo · 25/06/2010 21:36

Whole Earth Cruncy Organic... but I hadn't realised that it contained Palm Oil.

WIll have to switch.

PictureThis · 25/06/2010 21:46

No organic peanut butter here. I love Tesco's own brand crunchy peanut butter. It's probably full of sugar and very little peanuts but it's lovely and sloppy...

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 25/06/2010 21:47

we buy from our local wholefood coop but have found it here

Ponders · 25/06/2010 21:55

I don't have a problem with a little bit of cane sugar, oil & sea salt. And the men in my house eat it by the tablespoonful. So - the 99p huge jars from Lidl (95% peanuts after all...)!
