baby rice

mashed banana

pureed pear and apple

mashed carrot/parsnip/swede

mashed ripe avocado with pear/apple

I used to puree whatever veg we were having with our dinner, and then fruit or yogurt for pudding.
If there was veg leftover it went in the freezer for days when our meals weren't suitable.

thanx evry 1 i have got a freezer full of pureed leek sweet pot carrots and brocolli just wanted sumfin bit diff , can they have chicken pureed wot bout strawberrys rasp ?

I know some hildren get an allergic reaction to strawberrys - a rash I think - might be as well to just try a bit mixed with banana first.

You can also mash melon, pumpkin, peaches and nectarines.

When I weaned my dd's, the advice was to start at 4 months and at 6 months to add egg, fish and meat - not sure what the experts say now....

don't give strawberries yet because you can have quite a nasty allergic reaction.
