How to store cheese straws

Hi
Can anybody help... my husband has made some delicious cheese straws for our cafe. He wanted to bag some up for people to take home, but when we sealed them in a cellophane bag, they went all soft after about 2 weeks. Does anyone know, would they keep crunchy longer if we put them in those breathable plastic bags, like the ones they use to seal up bread and rolls at tesco? Wanted to see if they would keep for about a month?
TIA

am not an expert but wouldn't expect them to stay crunchy for more than a couple of days, never mind 2 weeks or a month. Others might think differently!

Couldn't you freeze them then cook & package a few at a time?
