I really fancy some iced tea but have never made it before. Does anyone have a good recipe?

Lemon iced tea would be especially good

Thanks for that.

So you can just use ordinary PG Tips type teabags then?

I love making iced tea, make it often. I have a few recipes, which are not recipes as such, I just chuck it all together.

I make a jug of regular tea and add some sugar for sweetness, some lemongrass and some mint as well as some lemon or lime slices. Very refreshing with some ice.

Another favourite is cooled rooibos tea with sugar of honey and some lemon.

I make a nice green tea one too. I cant bear the taste of green tea, but know how good it is for you. So I make a a jug of green tea, and add some lemon squash to sweeten it. Yummy this one.

The tea is made, it's currently cooling in the fridge. I tried it whilst it was still hot and it tasted good so hopefully it'll be even better once is cooled.

Though now it's got me thinking about Long Island iced tea...

mummalish - the lemongrass and mint sounds lovely, will give that a go one day

just make some tea and cool it, mix it with juice of your liking (about 1 quarter juice 3 quarters tea) and hey presto.
