Personally dont know how I could live without one.

Mine is below - not shopped for it yet so might make some late substitutions once I have read everone elses. Boneless fish crumble is a jibe at DH who complained last time I made it that I had missed the tiniest bone in the whole world..

Tue - Fishfingers?
Wed - Rice stuffed peppers with goats cheese, broccoli, carrots, halloumi & prawns
Thur - Pancakes with poached egg & salmon with steamed veg
Fri - Quorn Burger & Chips
Sat - Soup
Sunday - Pizza (homemade)
Mon - Boneless fish crumble
Tue Houmous, pittas & salad (with prawns?)
Wed - Quorn Burgers & Salad
Thur - Stirfry & Coconut Rice
Fri - Jacket Potatoes & salad

DanJARMouse · 22/06/2010 20:42

Today- puy lentil bolognaise with goats cheese and pasta. garlic pitta bread.

Wed- Some sort of mushroom, pepper, rice concoction with quorn 'meat balls'.

Thurs- tangy trout

Fri - Friday night is always 'pizza night' (homemade of course )

Saturday- Might try a main meal salad with black beans, avocado, feta, corn on cob.

Sunday- may bbq if nice- lamb chops? homous, wraps? halloumi?

can't really think any further ahead but from my rifling today I have a chickpea bake and a carrot baklava on my list of new things to make.

loonyrationalist · 22/06/2010 22:16

DanJARMouse, fish crumble is quite easy.
quanties are estimates as I don't really measure

1kg mixed fish, I use cod & salmon , but would be nice with some smoked fish in too (which I don't use as DH soesn't like it)
200g prawns (Optional )
400g cream
Large handful of fresh dill
2 heaped tsp cornflour
Salt & pepper to taste

For crumble,
300g plain flour
125g butter/margarine
125g strong cheddar
100g oats
1/4 tsp salt

Make crumble topping first
I add everything but the oats to the foodprocessor, whizz & then quickly mix in oats at the end.

If no food processor rub butter into flour, then mix in finely grated cheese , salt & oats.

Chop fish into 2cm square chunks removing bones as you go.
Put cream into a saucepan with dill & warm through.
Mix cornflour with a little cold water & stir into cream.
Add salt & pepper to taste.
Stir fish into cream & place into a shallow baking dish
Top with crumble & bake in the oven for about 25-30 mins at 180 degrees C

DanJARMouse · 22/06/2010 22:18

Lovely - thank you!

I would need to sub the cream for a white sauce though as cant have cream

Sounds lovely! Will pass to DH for his info as he is resident cook!

Hulababy · 22/06/2010 22:22

Monday - roast chicken wraps (tuna steak for me) wth umani paste, with soured cream, salad, etc.

Saturday - friend over - probably take away curry

ivykaty44 · 22/06/2010 22:23

DanJARMouse, hope you enjoy it. Boo hiss to no cream but instruct DH to make white sauce quite thin as it thickens up loads whilst cooking
