And if now what can I use instead? I am making chocolate chelsea buns.

Waitrose. They do them in dried packets, if not try dried apricots for a slightly sweeter flavour. Or cranberries or cherries.

Here

Thanks gruber . I always think of Paddington when I see your name. Do you know Dh tried to tell me he isn't real? .

I bought dried peaches and apricots as alternatives just in case. Which would you think it best?

Thanks for the picture help. I do that sometimes when looking for something new and a bit different so I know what to look for.

Thanks! That was my intention, I love Paddington. He is definitely real.

I think pear, it gives a nicer flavour with chocolate, find apricots and peaches quite sweet.

I knew it.

I am going to send DH to the naughty corner when he gets home.

When ds1 was a baby he had a Paddington bedroom and it was brilliant .

WOW. I am super impressed. Wonder if I can get my DH to agree to a Paddington bedroom for our children...

FabIsGettingFit · 22/06/2010 18:58

Why does he gave to agree?

He had stickarounds, a rug, curtains, lots of cuddly Paddington's of course, a really big Paddington with wellies on, Paddington cross stitches that I did and a Paddington mobile over his cot.

I mentioned it to him and he didn't rule it out! Only reason I have to ask is that he will be the one decorating/hanging Paddington pictures etc. Might start on a Paddington cross stitch - good idea!

Have you made the buns? How did they turn out?

FabIsGettingFit · 24/06/2010 11:44

I am making them another day as there is a lot to it.

I still have the Paddington curtains....

Don't tempt me!! Not even TTC no.1 yet, still a year or so to go... might get back to you on that one!
