Can I freeze traybakes?

I want to make some traybakes for an upcoming fair but rather than baking all day would rather do it over period of next few weeks.

Can I free them? Can I free them iced (lemon drizzle, butter icing etc).

yes buttercream will freeze
it can also be made up ahead and stored for a week in the fridge if you prefer to ice your cakes at a later date
