roasted and mixd into dough

oherwise they will get all black and crisp

calm yourself dear. it will all be fine.

MoonFaceMama · 17/06/2010 23:45

Personally i'd put on top with the rosemary, olive oil and rock salt. It's a shallow bread so cooks quickly. They will be fine!

Aha...but maybe it's sun dried toms that are the prob there hope...being already dried they'll have a lower water content and so burn quicker...? that is a guess...

In that case i'd bake the bread without peppers. Roast them in a seperate dish with plenty of olive oil (plus rosemary and garlic) and use this mix for the final dressing with olive oil that focaccia normally gets when it comes out of the oven. That way you can control them! Have had one like this from the farmers market and it is lovely. I always feel things get lost in the dough a bit if they are within it.

Good luck and enjoy the huge glass of wine you'll deserve at the end of the day!

Weeeeelll

never on top as they will char. Tbh I wouldn't even put them into the dough mixture. I'd roast the peppers and drench them in olive oil and eat them then with the bread

MoonFaceMama · 19/06/2010 22:09

Well done mamaG (especially the scissory recovery from my rubbish suggestion ) Do you get to scoff it tomorrow?

MamaG · 20/06/2010 09:19

Yes I'll get to scoff later- but I'm sick of the sight of food
