What's your fave pizza topping?

I'm fancying pizza for tea tonight or tomorrow but can't decide what I want to put on it!!

Plain and simple: tomato sauce (with a bit of chilli), mozzarella and basil.

Jalapeno chillies, mushroom and mixed peppers.

Oh yes, mushrooms and jalapeno peppers. Lots of cheese. The best.

I had avocado on one once. Yeurch.

Mozzarella, pears, apple banana and pineapple

Banana... interesting...

My DS chooses broccoli and cauliflower as his pizza toppings. It tastes hideous but...

llaregrub, I'll pass on those as toppings but thanks

Not sure about banana either!!

Jalepenos, mushrooms & peppers sound good though . . . will add to my list for tomorrow as I need to do some shopping & have none of them in. So it'll be tea tomorrow & wonder what's for tonight now!

broccoli, onion and semi-sundried tomatoes

roasted tomatoes, onions, courgettes, peppers and goats cheese.

chorizo, feta and red onion.

Anchovies and black olives.

DD likes chorizo.

I'm normally with helyg on this but lately i've been doing a summer version. No tomato sauce (saves making it too...lazy moonface!) just fresh toms, mozz, and tasty things (garlic, chilli,herbs, parmesan,olive oil etc) left to get acquainted in a bowl while the dough proves. Then chucked on top as it goes in. And a few black olives. Nom nom!

Whilest on the topic...read in weekend paper about putting the dough in the oven without topping for a minute, then flipping it over, topping and finishing cooking. Supposed to give a really crisp base. Any one tried this? May give it a go next time...

Take away i used to frequent did a great greek pizza. Argh. Want pizza now!
