Prawn thai soup is lush and low fat.

or not so low fat, but tasty green thai prawn curry

www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/greenthaiprawncurry_88606 if this one is a faff for ingredients, just fry off some garlic and onions with some butter, add some thai green curry paste, then add a tin of coconut milk, then the prawns, which is what I do as a quick and cheaper fix!

Peeled, they can cook in about three minutes, in a pan. Overcooking them makes them all rubbery and not-so-great.

Thai prawn soup is the business. I get a bottle of tom yum soup base in the Asian part of the supermarket and use that, with prawns and mushrooms. Goddamn it's very tasty.

Put another shrimp on the barbie. It's not a joke. Tiger prawns, in their shell, on a kebab stick, on the barbie, cook each side until they really change colour and the legs are half burned off..Peel them and dip in garlic alioli. Bloody fantastic.

Fry peeled prawns, cherry tomatoes with garlic in olive oil, toss through linguine with fresh parsley, loads of pepper and parmesan cheese.

They love the prawn in Sweden and there are some recipes here:

THis is lovely: Prawns in a Dark Sauce.

I add far less water than the recipe suggests, though.

For raw Tiger prawns

Fry garlic in butter to soften, add prawns. When underside of shell is pink turn over and flambé with pastis, and garnish with chopped parsley.
