Fete Cake?

I have a school fete, a village fete and a fundraiser fete in the next two weeks.

I need your best fete cake recipes, tray bakes, muffins etc.

lemon drizzle cakes good as can batch bake if you can get hold of some extra loaf tins i use the Nigella recipe which alwyas gets compliments- have also done orange when bored by lemon-

also think on MN is a recipe for caramel crunch's - basically melted mars bars - I used Sainsburys own and they were fine, some butter and rice crispies - again value version were fine, v easy melt mars bar/butter stir in crispies and put in tin- press down hard then stick in fridge cut into slices... disappeared at school cake sale..

other good sellers were butter biscuits - again used nigellas recipe for birthday biscuits- cut into shapes eg stars and crowns and 'iced' by children with pastelly coloured icing!
