leftover from picnic

Defrosted chicken bits and cooked them Sat eve.
They spent the night in the fridge but then were out all day on picnic spread.
Amazingly I had over estimated and have some drumsticks left which have now been back in the fridge overnight.

Paranoid question but would they be ok after spending hours in the sun yesterday?

They'll be fine today. Just eat them as soon as possible.

If they were in the sun literally all day, then i wouldn't personally eat them, i'm pretty cautious about that sort of thing though.

do they smell ok?

not if they were out all day.
