I would like to cook some mushrooms in foil but not sure how it is done.

Are there any rules for bbq and foil?

Would you not cook from raw on there? Would i have to double wrap the foil?

Why do you need foil?
Get some big mushrooms, stuff with garlic butter and just put them on as they are.

If you really want foil, I'd chop them in quarters, or use whole button mushrooms, dot with butter and garlic, scrunch the foil to make a parcel and cook for around 15 minutes.

I already have small button mushroom so i dont want to buy big ones.

Go with the foil for them then.

Big ones are worth trying though.

DD hate them but I do them for me. I adore mushrooms.

I will try the big ones next time, small ones were a bargain so couldnt resist and theyt were fab.

I put a small bit of wine in, lazy garlic and the mushroom. Gorg.

You can buy little aluminum foil trays with ridges and little holes in them for cooking things like mushrooms. You still get the barbecue flavour without losing them.
