I cut it up, put it in a baking dish, put some sugar and a little orange juice over it and then put it in the oven for about 30 minutes (c. 170 degrees celcius).

It can also be cooked in a saucepan on the stove - also with the sugar and orange juice.

quite a lot, I usually sprinkle the rhubarb to start with so that it is evenly covered. when cooked I taste and usually add some more. you can also add a banana when cooking, that helps so you teeth don*t go too furry when eating.

I cook in oven for 40 mins on medium to high temp, dish covered with foil ( nb foil musn't touch rhubarb as it taints flavour ). I use 10 or so chopped up sticks (approx 1 inch cube ) with 2 heaped tablespoons vanilla sugar and the zest of an orange.

or in a crumble with strawberries then you don't need sugar

Thanks ladies, i cooked it last night and it is in the freezer ready for me to make a pie tonight....also have 3 punnets of strawberries yum yum

Chop it into a suacepan, sprinkle with sugar and ginger then add a little water and simmer until soft.

Make a rhubarb charlotte. Best pudding in the world!

The best use of Rhubarb ever!

Roast Rhubarb with cup of water dash of vanilla essence and 2/3 tablespoons of sugar for 30 mins.

Strain off juice and then press through a sieve to get the rest of the juice.

Mix 1 part Rhubarb juice with 2 parts Vodka and shake over ice.

Nectar.The most wonderful pink, lush , summery drink ever.
