Not sure of the weight because the packet has gone in the bin but it is meant to take 1hr 37 mins at 180 degrees (fan) BUT I need it to take 2 hrs or 2hrs 15 mins as we want to go out this afternoon. What temp do i put it on??

Hope it worked out ok. 2 hours is a long time. I cook mine for an hour. Id assume low around 2.5 - 3 gas mark.

Hope it wasnt dry?

thanks for your reply. It was a shade over cooked but perfectly ok!

My favourite way to roast chicken is in clay pot; with tiny abount of liquid it can stay in the oven until its bones melt, meaning, you could leave it at 180C for hours but it'll be cooked in less than two. The clay pot keeps it moist forever. The last 15min I remove the lid and let it brown.

oooooh what a brilliant idea!
