Anyone know how they mix their icing? The icing on them always tastes much nicer than when I try to make them at home!!

I haven't but I saw the Mary Queen of Shops programme last night and they were icing buns for a bakery. It looked just like glace icing, ie. icing sugar mixed with water. I guess you could get fancy and flavour it if you wanted with maybe lemon juice or vanilla or something....

I put lemon juice in my icing - it makes it less runny and it tastes great! YOu just replace some of the water with some lemon juice.

Where I worked as a saturday girl years ago, all they put on them was melted fondant icing.
