looking for a recipe that will come out sqidgy like the large American cookies you can buy at Millies Cookies(?)etc.
I'm sure its part down to how long they are baked for, but ddo you need to use a certain type of fat andd sugar?
thanks in advance!

Here's my recipe I use from the Be-Ro book, I think they are like Millies but they do need to be eaten on the day of baking, they don't keep.

100g margarine
75g soft light brown sugar
2 tbsp golden syrup
175g slef-raising flour
100g chocolate chips
2 tbsp milk

1: heat oven to 180 oc , gas mark 4, grease two baking trays
2: beat the marg until soft, add the sugar and cream together until light and fluffy.
3: stir in the syrup, flour, choc chips and milk and mix well.
4: place spoonfuls of mixture onto trays and bake for 8-10 mins. Remove from tray immediently and place on a wire rack to cool.

Let me know how u get on if you dciede to give them a go!
