All Spice Berries - what's an alternative?

found a recipe for Beef Stifado a JO one but it states 1.5 tsps of All Spice Berries??? Have been everywhere today but cant find them

what can I use instead?

All Spice berries give a nice rounded 'spiciness' to a dish (hence the name!).

So, I would use maybe cinnamon stick or some cloves or perhaps a grating of nutmeg.

The recipe uses cloves and cinnamon sticks so perhaps may up their qtys

yes, to be honest I'm sure the lack of allspice berries will make very little difference to the overall taste.
