Tuna fishcakes, potato wedges and salad.

That's the plan anyway it may change depending on whether ny ds (5wks) allows me to make it!

GreatOrmondSt · 01/06/2010 13:28

Roast chicken, salad and coleslaw...yum yum! Although as summer doesn't seem to have arrived yet - something warmer may be a distinct possibility.

Misty do you make your own fishcakes? I've made my own before but have never been impressed enough with them to go to the effort again

Amy

Mistymoo · 01/06/2010 14:55

Was planning in making my own. I have a recipe for Thai ones so will give it a go. It doesn't look too difficult

FreakoidOrganisoid · 01/06/2010 15:02

Sausages, new potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, halloumi. Probably all just chucked together into a big dish and done in the oven.

brightwell · 01/06/2010 15:15

I'm cooking a roast...chicken & all the trimmings. A rare treat in this household.

foureleven · 01/06/2010 15:16

Well ir was going to be chicken caeser salad because I thought it was going to be sunny. But it feels wrong now so maybe a giant lasagne.

TheArmadillo · 01/06/2010 15:40

coq au vin with roast potatoes, peas and some broccoli if still edible. All prepped (except veg) and in oven ready just to be switched on.

All have bug and won't be able to face doing it by this evening.

M32song · 01/06/2010 15:42

corned beef hash.

retro!

DastardlyandSmugly · 01/06/2010 15:45

Sausage pasta or harissa prawns with quinoa, rocket and feta.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 01/06/2010 15:46

We're having roast beef, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, carrots, peas, roasted butternut squash, gravy and ice cream for pudding. Its raining out and I've nothing better to do

M32song · 01/06/2010 15:50

nom nom to harissa prawns, how do you cook them?

120 · 01/06/2010 15:51

courgette risotto with salad

vintage · 01/06/2010 15:51

im missing out dinner and having toast and boiled egg about 9 ish

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 01/06/2010 15:53

Fish pie if I can get off my arse and make it.

DastardlyandSmugly · 01/06/2010 15:53

Quinoa is done in veg stock. Then I light grill prawns just so they are warm and mix in with quinoa, harissa (two tsp usually), rocket and crumble in feta. It's yummy and takes about 10 mins to cook.

mrspear · 01/06/2010 15:56

I am making trout in orange sauce (new recipe )with noddles and sugar snap peas

AMumInScotland · 01/06/2010 15:58

Ham, leftover salad and frittata/tortilla made with leftover new potatoes!

sorky · 01/06/2010 15:58

m32song one of my favourite meals.

We're having cottage pie with mustard mash and carrots & sprouting broccoli (from 'lotment).

In fact, better start peeling...

minervaitalica · 01/06/2010 16:02

Octopus and potato salad. With steamed cauli and a green salad

KodakTheBat · 01/06/2010 16:06

Healthy egg and chips but I'm adding cherry toms and serving with baked beans and Sicilian sausages. I'm bloody starving

ChickenHaveNoEyebrows - mmmmmm

LucyDeSpiderman · 01/06/2010 16:07

oooh M32song, us too quite looking forward to it, although NOT looking forward to peeling spuds

KodakTheBat · 01/06/2010 16:07

M32song - I've never had corned beef, am I missing out?

M32song · 01/06/2010 16:23

Thanks Dastardly, I shall do that later in the week, I have quinoa lurking in the cupboard

M32song · 01/06/2010 16:25

Kodak - possibly. It's beef from a tin and it's dead cheap. if you don't have fond childhood associations of it you might find it a bit gross, tbh.

Clearly I am not on the Corned Beef Marketing Board

DastardlyandSmugly · 01/06/2010 16:55

I am a fan of corned beef too.
