What do you do with millet flakes?!

I've bought some millet flakes today as I am trying to avoid giving DS gluten for a little while yet- he has a milk allergy. Just realised I don't know how to prepare it though- I presume it's not as easy as baby rice which I chuck into most things DS has to thicken up the puree's.

I use millet flakes for ds2 and did with ds1 too. I just use it like porridge. When he was in the early weaning stage, I just added hot water and some expressed breastmilk. Then some fruit puree later. Now, he has porridge each morning made with half oat flakes, half millet flakes, boiling water and fruit puree.

Thanks, I will give it a go
