Freezing/reheating food query

Family gathering. The day before they come I plan to make a big chilli and a big chicken curry. Next day I'll reheat everything thoroughly for eating at said gathering.

If there is any left after that, is it safe to freeze it, then defrost and heat/eat again, or will that be dodgy?

Dodgy.

Hmm..Thanks yes, I thought so too. But I do tend to err on the side of caution anyway and wondered if I was being too careful.

Ok, it'll have to all be eaten on the day

the chilli should be ok if it is mincemeat but the chicken not ok

I have done the very same thing with chilli

Food should only be reheated once, and then thrown away if not eaten. WRT the rice you should make it fresh on the day, as it can harbour botulism.
