Popover pan, dariole mould? Help...

Have had an idea for little chocolate guinness cakes baked in individual deep tins and topped with white chocolate ganache to look like mini pints of guinness, but can't decide what they should be baked in - I thought about dariole moulds, but have since found popover pans - anyone know if these are any good?
