Yes.

Mum2girls · 06/08/2005 16:42

I'm sure I did, although the food police may say they're too high in sugar and salt...

Hee hee! Thanks! I'm sure I waited till after 12 months for ds1 and ds2 but since they are having them with eggy bread, it would be much easier to give ds3 the same! Won't kill 'im will it?!

Problem is, the sugar is normally replaced by some yucky chemical...

Gobbledigook · 06/08/2005 16:43

beans beans
good for the heart
the more you eat them the more you fart
the more you fart the better you feel so let's have beans for every meal.

omg yes you do!

By 12 months they can eat pretty much anything any way! (as long as not too salty, no salt added etc)

If you add a little apple cider vinegar to the baking water whilst doing beans it takes the fartiness out of them.

expatinscotland · 06/08/2005 18:04

Neutralises the nitrogen or some other thing like that.

highlander · 07/08/2005 09:20

I saw that You Are What You Eat programme for the first time last week and she had her own recipe for baked beans. The wee girl loved them

Gobbledigook · 07/08/2005 09:34

Well ds3 loved the Heinz variety

ds had beans from about 8mths. By 12mths the HV said he should be eating pretty much the same as us which is what we have done since...although i never salt anything anyway
