Hello everyone, so i was on the computer the other night looking for quick fixes to help me get back into shape again after having my children....nothing new there! When i hear an advert on the T.V as if it was almost just aimed at me it was of course Celebrity Slim, I got all excited and did some research on it well alot actually found it had no negative feed back as such just those usual people saying dont do it blah blah! So i went out the next day to get the starter pack which wasn't cheap got home decided to try the next day started with a strawberry shake ....YUK had half an apple mid morn and a banana shake at lunch mmm other half of the apple mid afternoon and chicken salad for dinner mmm! first day was ok, woke up the next morning feeling sloshy and sick and flu typey didn't know whether this was coincidence or something to do with the diet i could not even hack the thought of a shake for breakfast and still now 4 days later i feel the same so i just wanted to know if anyone else had tried this and got the same feelings as me? any replies will be much obliged thank you

You'd be just as well with slim fast, or even just a low fat diet.

I'd say the bad feelings are withdrawal symptoms.

I did Celebrity Slim, after doing lipotrim and to m it really is just slim fast dressed up.

hi ThreadKillerQueen thanks for your reply, i decided to stop the celebrity slim shakes as they just don't taste very nice to me! As i don't have any money at the moment to go out and buy the replacement bars i am now off the diet completely and doing my own i will admit that since coming off it i do feel much better today no headaches and no sickness i can actually stand the thought of food again lol thanks for your advice!

Not sure if anyone is still using celebrity slim on here but I'd love to hear about your results. I've tried slim fast but I wasn't that keen on the flavours of the shakes so I'm thinking of giving celeb slim a go as they sound quite appealing. Meal replacement diets are a good option for me as easy for work etc.

Oh please don't do any of these bollocks diets. Only this week at Weight Watchers our leader brought in some articles about a young mum who died after losing 20lb in a month doing Lighter Life. They aren't healthy no matter how healthy and nutritionally perfect for you they claim to be, they'll never compare to a low fat balanced diet and exercise, and the minute you stop them and start to actually eat food again, you'll whack the weight back on plus more.

These diets all work by sending your body into starvation mode and making it feed off itself. It feeds off your fat stores, your muscle, and when you consider that your heart is a muscle - you can see why people can get very ill from them. I'm not surprised you felt like shit and I wouldn't call it a coincidence.

Glad you're off it! Apologies if I've offended anybody on one of these 'diets', but I'm only speaking the truth!
