I can't find them anywhere! Sainsburys out of stock, Waitrose out of stock, Planet organic out of stock.

Any theories as to why or suggestions where I can get them? Maybe it's the ash cloud??

Lidl have them in jars, along with lots of other antipasti gorgeousness

aha. lidl. how good are they? Good thinking. Will check them out.

Thing is for my recipe I need them in water, not oil as I'll be mixing it with mozzarella and mayo.

Theyremybiscuits Lidl say they have them but they never do. It's like someone comes along and cherrypicks all the jars of artichokes leaving the mushrooms and onions behind, maybe some courgettes if you're lucky.

Hang on a minute - is that person you?

I've just checked Asda online and they say they have them for £1. Don't get to Asda very often as it's a bit of a drive, but find it odd that Asda should have them and not Sainsburys or Waitrose. .

Aldi sell them I think.

I think Mozzers Morrisons have tinned ones, or at least they used to.

will check out them too. I thought our local shops would have them (tend to be turkish/greek) but nada. grrr. I don't want to cook this thing, find it's delicious, then realise it involves a trek to get the blardy chokes each time.
