Just found this recipe but it only uses 2 ounces of Ready Brek so you'd have to make a lot to use up a whole box! I've copied and pasted it from another website:

What better way to treat the little ones at Christmas time, than with these delicious New York Cookies. These authentic cookies will bring a little taste of the Big Apple to your home. But be warned, they're very more-ish!

The Basics
Serves: 8
Prep Time: 0hrs 5 mins
Cooking Time: 0hrs 10 mins

Ingredients
1tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
5oz brown sugar
1 eggs
1 tsp salt
2oz blended oats (ready brek)
50z sugar
2 tsp soda
7 oz Flour
6oz choc chip
4oz Butter

Method

Cream butter and sugar then add dry ingredients and chocolate chips. Mix together and roll into balls and put on a greasproof lined tray and cook for 10 mins at oven 375 degrees

The Story Behind The Recipe
Some of my favourite recipes are the tasty treats as I think that?s when the kids have the most fun in the kitchen. Especially now there are a lot of holidays coming up with Halloween, Bonfire night and Christmas just around the corner is great to involve the kids in the preparations. A particular favourite of my family are our New York Cookies, they remind us of a family trip we had to the States a few years ago. The weather was really cold and we nipped into this huge department store to warm up. The boys just loved how big everything was there; the buildings, the theatres, the statue of liberty and particularly the size of the delicious department store cookies!!

I dont have any cake or biscuit recipes I'm afraid, but if you're a smoothie fan you can mix it in with your fruit and yogurt for some extra nutrition. I make a smoothie for breakfast using raspberries, banana, Greek yog, milk and ready brek and it's very filling.

Though if I wasn't trying to lose weight I would just eat huge bowlfuls of Ready Brek smothered in golden syrup.

thank you for your replies. Cookies- that recipe looks really good. Smoothies- what a good idea... golden syrup sounds so good!
