banana bread

I haven't got a loaf tin, would it be OK to make in a cake tin? Any marvellous recipes gratefully received!

If the cake tin is the same dimensions as a loaf tin, it should be ok but keep an eye on it so the top doesn't burn.

The best banana bread I have made recently was made with over-ripe bananas whose skin was completely black on the outside... Best flavour and VERY cheap too.
