Crunch oat cereal recipe anyone?

I'm fed up paying so much money for Jordans crunchy oat cereals. They're too sweet anyway. It must be really cheap and easy to make your own but how...?

Any recipes greatly appreciated.

There are lots if you Google for granola which seems to be the American equivalent. I looked at several and then made my own up.
