1/2 shoulder of lamb

I have half a shoulder of lamb that weighs 9.2kg. I would like to cook something that could be served with cous cous and tzatziki but an English/traditional recipe would be fine too. The only recipes I can find are for whole shoulders of 2kg and am unsure of how to reduce the timings. I don't have a slow cooker.

I put a recipe for kleftiko on here a while back that is nice and would go well with couscous. I have a feeling I put slow cooker timings on it but it will also be fine done in the oven on low for 4-6 hours?

Found it - thank you. How low should the oven be? 100degreesC or lower?

My fave slow cooker recipe (by miles!) is kleftiko

4 lamb steaks/neck fillets/shanks or whatever
1 large onion, roughly chopped
4 medium tomatoes, sliced
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
4-5 bay leaves
1 tbsp fresh rosemary
1 tbsp fresh oregano
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp tomato puree
Salt and black pepper
Pint of lamb stock or enough to cover it
Block of feta cheese

serves 4

Chuck it all in the slow cooker for the day. When it's time empty most of it (not all the liquid) into a ovenproof dish, sprinkle over the feta and melt it in the oven. Good with potatoes or salad.

Nice with baby potatoes as above and a greek salad.
