Why do the doughnuts as Tesco NEVER taste fresh??

Just wondered really. Whenever I buy 'fresh' doughnuts from any Tesco, they always taste a little stale. Anyone know why this is? Sainsburys do lovely jam doughnuts that always taste fresh and I cannot understand why Tesco isn't the same!

Because Sainsburys is great and Tesco is the devil's work?

Seriously, why do so many people shop at Tesco?

I agree with you, but also I am quite grateful as it means I very rarely have doughnuts now. (we used to get them at work) Put me right off, but to be fair they are only lard, flour and sugar so no great loss really.

M&S doughnuts are gorgeous, individual ones from the bakery counter, but they are 39p each.

Aaah but the Tesco custard tarts are miles better than the Sainsbury's ones

Have you ever tried making donuts?

Incomparable. You can never make enough!
