quick budget meals

was underpaid by a substantial amount this month and have set myself a challenge to manage without borrowing from overdraft/credit card etc.i need recipes for quick budget meals .also has anyone made jamie oliver tuna meatballs with tinned tuna?

jacket potatoe with baked beans and cheese

make a tomatoe sauce with some onions / carrots / peppers and a tin or 2 of chopped tomatoes and some herbs...

use as a base for pizza, then freeze a small portion...

then add some chicken stock and cook it a bit more and you have 2 portions of pasta sauce as well

there is the base for 4 meals!!!!!!

bulk out a basic bolognses with lots of veg / lentils so it makes 2 or 3 bolognese type meals.... spag bol and cottage pie for example
