Any suggestions on which of the chain restaurants is the best when SIL and kids visit (don't want to try them all myself!)?

Want somewhere DH, I and SIL can have a decent meal but the kids (DD4, DS7) will feel welcome and we can all have a good time together.

They are really nice in our local Zizzi, give DD dough sticks and things.

strada, giraffe, wagamamas plus agree with all the above.

Where are you? Because I can recommend an excellent independent restaurant between Huddersfield and Wakefield.

Wetherspoons pubs have great cheap meals and most of them are quite child-friendly. I took my two DSs there today and we had lunch for £13 (inc wine for me!)

Also they love Pizza Express and Zizzis (check online as both of these often have vouchers available for buy one get one free)

Wagamama definitely. The novelty value always goes down a treat with ours.

La Tasca are child friendly and all the little tapas dishes are perfect for them to try. Also there is always a discount voucher if youhunt around online.
