How do you make that nice chocolate icing - not buttercream - set but not hard....would melted chocolate with butter work? or does it need icing sugar to set??

I use melted chocolate and cream - single - whisked in when choc cooled a bit. Goes a bit fudgey when cool and is yum

I make it with 6oz butter/margerine, 6oz icing sugar, 4oz caster sugar and 1 tbsp cocoa powder.

The caster sugar gives it a nice crunch.

Try melted chocolate with some icing sugar mixed in. Weirdly it stops the chocolate from setting solid.
