Help me buy an ice cream maker!

Not sure if this is really the right place to put this (apologies if not), but reckon all you foody lot may be able to help...

I'd like to buy an ice cream maker as a present for some friends of mine. It's a big family, so a larger capacity would be an advantage, and it will likely have to stand up to fairly heavy use .

I don't live in the UK, so I have to be able to order online and get it sent to them.

Any recommendations??

i suggest the one sold by lakeland... i have used a few and it is really one of the best i have used

Thanks very much for the tip nannyl- I've looked on the Lakeland website and they sell quite a few. Don't suppose you remember who made the one you used?
