Help, any quick tips on roughly how much couscous to allow per hungry child? Eg. Half a cup? Or a weight pre heated??

Many thanks!

Well, I measure mine out in a measuring jug, and 300ml, tooped up with water to 700ml, is too much for a hungry DH and me. How old are the children, and what else are they eating? I would guess about 100ml?

Thank you! Gives me somewhere to start with - I've never made it (shame on me!) but they had it at school last week and loved it, so today's the day!

They are 5 and 4 but starving and they eat like horses so I will slightly overestimate and see where we go.. with sliced beans and shredded chicken....

cheers.

Well the great thing about it is it takes less than 5 mins to make - so you can always make seconds!

Thanks!! now have two very satisfied children munching through good large portions of couscous. Cheers for the guidance, I really had NO idea where to start/how much it would expand!! And yes, so quick. Amazing, this will be a regular fixture on our meal planner.

Ahhhh. And relax.
