My mum used to use a screwdriver/chisel and hammer combo! Have never attempted it myself!

Drill a hole in to let the milk out, then bash it with a mallet.

In our house we use the corkscrew to get the milk out and then throw it repeatedly against the stone kitche floor until it cracks.

I am sure there is a better way.

Yes, was about to add, she would make a hole in it with the chisel/screwdriver to let the milk out then just bash the bugger with the hammer!

After drilling hole/or banging nail in the spots on the top (softest bit) to let the liquid out, wrap it in a tea-towel and bash it with a hammer.

Corkscrew for milk and throw it at the floor here too.

( once or twice a year when dh has to show his male prowess at the coconut stall.. Although ds1 is a pretty good shot these days aswell)

I used to knock 2 holes in, where the indents in the top are (one to drain, one to let air in), and then smash the bugger with a large mallet!
