Have duck sitting stuffed and waiting to go in oven ... got it in Jan and froze it. just read small-print which says suitable for home freezing and consume within 1 month of freezing. I'm now 3 months in . Is it safe, do you think? I kind of need a yes on this as I've nothing else but don't want to poison my mother or the children! It's not discoloured - think it smells okay .... it isn't odourless IYKWIM - has a faint smell but haven't roasted a duck in years so can't recall whether this is okay. The giblets were in it and they may have added to the aroma!

Advice ... please!

The BBC website says they are ok frozen for 3 months. After that it is more a texture issue than safety.

Oh thank you Seona ... I didn't even think of googling ... I just thought of the power of Mumsnet!
