Make tabbouleh. Follow instructions on packet, then mix the wheat with chopped tomato, parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper, touch of garlic. V nice. Goes well with grilled meat and pitta bread.

or fry a shallot in a little oil, add bulgar wheat, and coat in the oil. Add a little chicken stock and chopped tomatoes simmer for 10 minutes, then leave for a further 10 off the heat. Season to taste. Delicioso.

Not sure about following the recipe but i stick it in a bowl like couscous and a lid - bowl is ok/plate) for about 20/30 ish minutes.

I chop tomatoes, carrots small, celery, onions red or spring, juice a couple of lemon or use juice, small pinch of mixed spice, salt and pepper, coriander or parsley. It should be parsley but i like both and thats about it.

It is great with nandos sauce and either chicken or pork pieces. It is very yummy and i eat it weekly.

Once you have let it soak up the water according to the instructions on the pack, stir in a generous amount of mint sauce, some finely chopped spring onion, fresh parsley and some fresh coriander and you have a delicious variation on tabbouleh with v little effort!
