i was sold out of date baby milk on saturday 17th april 2010.on the box and both satchets the best before date says feb 2010.does anyone know where i stand on this because i am disgusted that a shop would sell a baby food/drink out of date that could have affected my babys health if she,d have consumed it.luckily i noticed before giving it to my baby.

you could report to trading standards and baby milk action

bibbitybobbityhat · 19/04/2010 17:15

What do you want them to do then?

FabIsGoingToGetFit · 19/04/2010 17:15

What do you want? Compensation?

bibbitybobbityhat · 19/04/2010 17:16

By "baby milk" I take it you mean formula milk, sold in powdered form?

Lulumaam · 19/04/2010 17:29

you won' get compensation, no harm was done to you or your DD, you have nothing to claim for . it is a PITA to have to take it back, but if you get your money back, what else did you expect? apart from a grovelling apology of course

although i think it is an offence to knowingly sell out of date food. ie/ past it's use by, not sell by date
