filling for baked pots, maybe

thislittlesisterlola · 15/04/2010 12:55

Gary Rhodes does a lovely, easy pate with tinned salmon or any fish and creme fraiche and butter. Season and add lemon. It's so good! You could use it as baked potato filling too. If your interested I'll find the recipe.

Salmon pate sounds delish.

salmon loaf made with tin of salmon, breadcrumbs, grated onion, lemon juice, parsley and an egg, bake like a meat loaf.

fishy fritters, flake the salmon with a pack of noodles(cooked) a tin of corn, 1 cup of flour, 1 egg and enough milk to make a batter, fry by dropped tablespoonfuls. This is one of my kids' favourite foods.

salmon fishcakes, fish pie mixed with some cooked white fish, salmon and chickpea burgers, salmon puffs (mix salmon with white sauce and parsley and make into pasties with puff pastry).

Monty100 · 15/04/2010 13:04

Definitely fishcakes.

I like tinned salmon, bit of mayo, bit of vinegar, bit of cucumber, in a sandwich .

stressedHEmum · 15/04/2010 13:05

Oh, forgot about salmon and potato bake (another kids' favourite. Kids also like it mashed with a tub of philly and some lemon juice as a spread for toast.
