baby friendly cheese sauce

hi my little girl is 7.5 months and was considering cauliflower cheese tomorrow

how do i make a baby friendly cheese sauce without cows milk? can i just use her milk instead?

anyhow whats the recipe for normal cheese sauce?

She can have cows milk in cooking from 6m

Just make it as you would normally

thankyou, im awful i usually just buy the packets of cheese sauce alot easier! but dont want her having it cos of potential rubbish in it!

A cheese sauce is piss easy to make

Melt a bit of butter
Add some flour and stir to make a 'roux' (a sort of thick but still moist paste)
Start pouring milk bit by bit, stirring constantly
When it gets to a thick, sauce-like consistency, add as much grated cheese as you wish

Voila

as above but the roux or flour and butter need to be allowed to cook for a few mins on a low heat before adding the milk
it's also nice to add grated nutmeg to the sauce
