Have had whole chicken that has done 6hrs in slow cooker and just finshed 30mins in oven.

Just going to see how it has turned out, not done it before!!!

Got roast pots, parsnips, carrots, leeks and peas to go with it..

Curry made with roast chicken leftovers

Francagoestohollywood · 14/04/2010 16:59

I'm going to make risotto with sausage, which is a typical Milanese (where I'm from) recipe.

LetThereBeRock · 14/04/2010 17:00

I'll have to try them roasted with paprika next time. If mine weren't already in the oven I'd do so tonight.

LetThereBeRock · 14/04/2010 17:03

Which type of sausage do you use for that Franca? And is the risotto cooked in stock or a tomato sauce?

Francagoestohollywood · 14/04/2010 20:17

Whooops, sorry I disappear.
I'd say any kind of plain pork sausage would do, you might want to take the skin off if the skin is too thick.
Typical Milanese risotto with sausage is cooked in stock, tonight I used chicken stock, as I made it 3 days ago in a rare moment of virtuous domesticity

Francagoestohollywood · 14/04/2010 20:17

disappeared

LetThereBeRock · 14/04/2010 20:18

Thankyou.

Francagoestohollywood · 14/04/2010 20:18
