Shall I bin this chicken?

I took a chicken out of freezer yesterday to defrost it to eat today. I left it out in the kitchen for a while and put it in fridge in the afternoon. It was almost defrosted but not quite. Got it out just now to roast and it was more frozen than when I put it in the fridge last night (someone had been fiddling and had turned up the fridge).

It's technically refrozen and will be eaten by small children so should I bin it? Won't be able to cook it tonight so it'd have to go back in fridge (now turned up again) until tomorrow. What would you do?

Personally I'd still cook it tomorrow when it has properly defrosted. It shouldn't have re-frozen properly in a fridge overnight. If you are particularly worried about the children, maybe just you and DP eat it....

I did cook it and none of us suffered any ill effects!
